Santa’s Christmas Charities to Distribute $13,500 to Three Local Nonprofits

Almost Home Kids, Cal’s Angels, & Gigi’s Playhouse Fox Valley to Each Receive $4,500 During Check Presentation Ceremony.

(NAPERVILLE, IL, MAY 8, 2024) –  Santa’s Christmas Charities, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is honored to distribute $13,500 to three deserving children’s charities: Almost Home Kids, Cal’s Angels, and Gigi’s Playhouse Fox Valley during a check presentation ceremony on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 12:00pm at the headquarters for IBEW Local 701, 28600 Bella Vista Pkwy, Warrenville, IL 60555. Donated funds were raised during the 2023 Santa’s Holly Jolly Sleigh Tour.

Santa’s Holly Jolly Sleigh Tour is a one-float, grassroots parade through Naperville, Illinois starring the big guy himself, Santa! Started in 2020, the tradition of spreading holiday cheer has spanned each holiday season since for 12 nights, along 12 routes, and through more than 80 Naperville neighborhoods. Santa’s Holly Jolly Sleigh Tour is powered by Team Doyle Hulsey (TDH) CrossCountry Mortgage, IBEW Local 701, PowerForward DuPage, The Branch Moms Community, the Career & Networking Center, and CoDo Marketing.

Founded in 2023 as a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Santa’s Christmas Charities is dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of children and families who are in need. Each year, all funds raised will go to select charities chosen specifically for that year. To raise funds, Santa’s Christmas Charities established ways for the community to get involved in Santa’s Holly Jolly Sleigh Tour via sponsorships, including Reindeer Route Riders, Candy Cane Crew, and Red Bow Gift, or through direct donations at santassleightour.org.
